A friendly companion to the Refund Policy. The legal one wins if there's any conflict.

- Lifetime plans are non-refundable (price reflects "lifetime")
- Renewals don't get a fresh window — cancel before the next renewal if you want out
- Email hello@storyvox.app with subject "Refund Request" to ask
- Stripe processes the refund to your original payment method, ~5–10 business days
Eligible
- New monthly subscription, first month
- New annual subscription, first year

Cancel ≠ refund
These are different:
- Cancel = stop auto-renewal. You keep access until the end of the period. No money back.
- Refund = we send the money back. Access ends immediately.
You can cancel anytime in account settings.
How to request
Email hello@storyvox.app:
- Subject: "Refund Request"
- Account email
- Order ID (or last 4 of the card)
- Brief reason (optional but helpful)
We reply within 2 business days. If approved, Stripe pushes the refund and it shows up in your account in about a week.
What about chargebacks?
Don't chargeback us without emailing first. That's a breach of the Terms — we can terminate the account. If something's wrong, just talk to us. We're reasonable.
Outages
We don't refund for short outages. If something's badly broken for an extended period, we may offer credit or a partial refund — at our discretion. The service is "as-is" with no uptime guarantee.
EU / UK note
Not currently available there. If we expand, EU's 14-day digital-content cooling-off applies.
Tax
Stripe handles tax adjustments on refunds automatically (since they're the merchant of record). You don't need to do anything.
